Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with us. We take great pride in the quality of our jewelry. Please review our return policy carefully before initiating a return.
This policy applies to both defective and non-defective returns, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Return Period
Returns are accepted within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
To be eligible:
Items must be shipped back to us within this 14-day window.
Returns requested or shipped after this period will not be accepted.
Made-to-order, custom, personalised, engraved, and final sale items are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation for change of mind, as explained below.
Valid Reasons for Return
Returns are only accepted in the following cases:
The item arrives damaged or defective.
The item received is incorrect.
The customer wishes to return the item due to change of mind, subject to the return conditions below and excluding made-to-order, custom, personalised, engraved, hygiene-restricted, and final sale items.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept returns for change-of-mind requests within the 14-day return period only for eligible items.
The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has started:
Made-to-order items
Custom items
Personalised items
Engraved jewelry
Pierced earrings
Items marked Final Sale
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:
The item must be unworn, unused, and in perfect resale condition.
All original packaging, tags, and certificates must be included.
Items must have our label attached.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Made-to-Order Items
Certain items are handmade to order based on the product options (variations) selected or provided by the customer, including:
Bracelet length options
Stone size options
String color options
Any other custom product options (variations) selected by the customer
Because these items are handmade specifically for the customer, all made-to-order purchases are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled once production has started.
Please make sure all selected options (variations) are correct before placing your order, including:
Bracelet length options
Stone size options
String color options
Any other product options
We are not responsible for incorrect measurements, stone size, string color, or other product options (variations) chosen by the customer.
This policy does not affect your legal rights if your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us at hello@jewelsbyares.com as soon as possible so we can help.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
Jewelry must be unworn, unused, and in original condition, suitable for resale.
All original packaging, certificates, tags, and accessories must be included.
Items must have our label attached.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
The item must not be made-to-order, custom, personalised, engraved, hygiene-restricted, or marked Final Sale.
For hygiene and safety reasons, pierced earrings, including studs and hoops, cannot be returned or exchanged.
We do not offer direct exchanges. If approved, returns are refunded according to the options below.
Fixed Return Handling Fee
Because we offer free outbound shipping, which is a cost covered by us, and because returned items may result in damaged or unusable packaging, all approved returns are subject to a fixed return handling fee of €15.
This fee applies to:
Change-of-mind returns
Refused shipments where the reason for return is not due to an error on our part
Refused shipments where the item is not confirmed to be defective
The return handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount before the refund is issued.
This fee is fixed and helps cover:
Original shipping cost
Return handling
Inspection
Packaging loss
Refund Options
Refunds for change-of-mind returns may be subject to a restocking or handling assessment if items do not meet all return conditions.

Issued within 2–3 business days after the return is received and approved

2. Refund to Original Payment Method
Processed within 7–10 business days after approval
Banks may take up to 3 additional days to reflect the refund
You will receive an email confirmation once issued
Damaged or Defective Items
If your jewelry arrives damaged or defective, you must contact us as soon as possible after delivery with clear evidence, such as photos.
We will review the case and offer an appropriate resolution in line with this policy. Our team will determine whether a replacement, repair, refund, or other resolution is appropriate.
Made-to-order, custom, personalised, engraved, hygiene-restricted, and final sale items remain covered if they arrive:
Faulty
Damaged
Incorrect
Not as described
Delivery Delays
Please note that delivery delays caused by shipping carriers are beyond our control.
We do not issue refunds or cancellations due to late delivery, as transit times are not guaranteed once an order has been dispatched.
Failed Delivery & Refused Shipments
If a customer provides an incorrect or incomplete shipping address and the package is returned to us due to unsuccessful delivery, we reserve the right to charge a reshipment fee of €15 to send the order again.
If a customer refuses delivery of an order for reasons not attributable to us, the shipment will be treated as a return only if the item is eligible for return under this policy. In such cases, a €15 delivery fee will be deducted from the refund or charged prior to any reshipment.
If a made-to-order, custom, personalised, engraved, hygiene-restricted, or final sale item is refused or returned to us due to customer refusal, incorrect address, or failed delivery not caused by us, the order will not be eligible for a change-of-mind refund.
Delivery Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
We are not liable for delivery issues, delays, losses, or unsuccessful deliveries resulting from:
Incorrect address information submitted by the customer
Incomplete address information submitted by the customer
Missing address information submitted by the customer
Our shipping labels are generated automatically based on the information entered at checkout, and we are unable to manually verify the accuracy or completeness of every address.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund for change of mind:
Made-to-order items, including bracelets handmade to the bracelet length, wrist size, stone size, string color, or other product options selected by the customer
Custom or engraved jewelry
Personalised jewelry
Pierced earrings, including studs and hoops, for hygiene reasons
Items marked Final Sale
Items returned after the 14-day return period
Items without original labels or packaging
Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration not reported prior to return
Returns that do not meet these criteria will be rejected and not refunded.
This does not affect your legal rights if an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.
Return Costs
Return shipping costs and related fees are handled as follows:
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Customs duties, import taxes, and return-related fees are non-refundable.
Proof of shipment and a valid tracking number are required.
We are not responsible for lost or delayed return shipments.
Processing Times
Returns are processed within 10 working days of arrival at our warehouse.
You will be notified once your refund or gift card has been issued.
